Salvation Army Visit

Key Stage 3 have been learning about The Salvation Army this term in RE and have held their own Christmas present appeal. Today they got to visit the local Salvation Army church in Ashton-in-Makerfield and deliver the presents to Claire Marriot-Lodge, the minister there. The presents were warmly welcomed and will go to people of the borough who won't be getting any presents this Christmas. 2B’s Evacuee Experience

2B’s Evacuee Experience This half term in History 2B have been studying World War 2 and in particular what life was like for children in the war. Queens Birthday

Queens 90th Birthday On Wednesday 20th April 2016, class 5A organised and held a tea party to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.
