Functional Skills (Edexcel)

In Oakfield College we practise the skills needed to use maths in the wider world.  Functional Skills Mathematics qualifications are designed to give learners the skills to operate confidently, effectively and independently in education, work and everyday life.

“Our Edexcel maths Functional Skills qualifications are designed to develop the learner’s ability to represent situations using mathematics, analyse calculations, solve problems and interpret mathematics to explain situations. They’re assessed in a single, external test (either paper-based or onscreen on demand).”
