All of our students have the opportunity to experience Individual Music Tuition delivered by tutors from Wigan Music Service.

In these lessons pupils can choose to work towards graded music exams from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music or ‘Rockschool’.

We share and celebrate students’ progress in music lessons in concerts on IntEnt Week and World Music Day where students perform to the whole school and college on their chosen instrument.

We have a number of instruments available to use in school including; keyboards, guitars and drum kit. Lessons with other instruments can also be organised and we currently have a violin and a voice teacher.

If you require an instrument to be used other than what is in school, or that you already own, these can be hired through Wigan Music Service who you can contact on; 01942 776169.

The lessons are 10 minutes long and are during the school day. Sessions are on the same day every week during term time, costing approximately £5 per session (approx.  £65 per term -13 weeks).
