Landgate have a new phonics scheme - Unlocking Letters and Sounds. This is a DfE validated systematic synthetic phonics scheme and will be used alongside Ransom Reading Stars reading books.

Our learners will have a dedicated phonics session every day and focused reading sessions using these fantastic resources.
Our staff have been fully trained and will deliver personalised and targeted approaches to meet the needs and abilities of all our learners in their phonics education.
School leaders have worked with St John Vianney's Primary School English Hub to ensure our phonics and early reading provision is the best it can possibly be for our learners.
Our dedicated phonics and early reading lead is supporting all to ensure high quality teaching and learning with appropriate support and interventions for learners and staff.
